About Us

Urban Golf Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 42-2480121) dedicated to expanding access to golf for youth and adults in underserved communities, with a special focus on HBCU golf programs and high school athletics.

Founded by Clifton Addison, the Foundation grew out of a simple belief: golf isn't just a sport — it's a gateway to networking, mentorship, and economic opportunity that too many communities have historically been shut out of. The Foundation works alongside its sister platform, Urban Golf Weekend, to turn that belief into real programming, partnerships, and pathways.
